Work with MIF
Manchester International Festival has vacancies for two paid Internships - one based in the Administration Department, the other in Marketing.
Both roles have been created as part of the Creative Employment Programme and will be based at our main office (35 hours per week Monday-Friday and paid at National Minimum Wage).
The Creative Employment Programme is an Arts Council England fund to support the creation of traineeships, formal apprenticeship and paid internship opportunities in England, for unemployed young people wishing to pursue a career in the arts and cultural sector.

To apply for these roles there are certain criteria you must meet in order to be eligible:
- You must be 18 to 24 years old.
- You must be registered as unemployed with Jobcentre Plus.
- Applications will only be considered from people permanently resident within the boundary of the City of Manchester. To check you are a resident within the area covered by Manchester City Council, you can see which ward you live in here: www.manchester.gov.uk/councillors

Please note, Manchester International Festival cannot accept direct applications for these roles. To apply we are inviting eligible potential applicants to join a two week long workshop where you can find out more about the roles and jobs with other cultural organisations and receive support for your application and interview.
