Since the creation of the band Soulwax in 1995, David and Stephen Dewaele have consistently pushed the boundaries into new and innovative territory. With their 2002 2manydjs album ‘As Heard on Radio Soulwax Pt 2’ they created a new remixing style that set the template for a million imitators.

In 2005 they were the first to record and release a remix of one of their own albums: ‘Any Minute Now’ became ‘Nite Versions’.

In 2011 they tore up the rulebook again in with the creation and curation of Radio Soulwax, a touring live event, an app and website. This app was an ultimate synthesis of sound and vision, producing 24 one hour mixes with accompanying visuals based on the artwork of the original records used within the mix. The app has had to date over 600k downloads and 300k sales.

In the midst of all this they have toured extensively throughout the globe, both as 2manydjs and Soulwax, much to the delight of their legions of fans. They have also somehow found the time to produce some of the most memorable and cutting edge remixes ever including Arcade Fire, Daft Punk, Gorillaz and MGMT.

Throughout their career they have led the way into unchartered territory and remained relevant and exciting to every generation that discovers them.
