Lieve studied publicity and photography at Sint-Lucas in Ghent. From 1988 to 1999, she was part of Wim Vandekeybus’ dance company Ultima Vez and performed in many of his productions. Other dance and acting projects include work by Inne Goris: III Zusters (III Sisters) (Zeven) and Nachtevening (Equinox) (Zeven & LOD). After completing a course in women’s clothing and pattern design, Lieve has focused her career primarily on designing costumes for various productions, including those of Inne Goris: De dood en het meisje (Death and The Maiden), La fille qui aimait trop les allumettes (The Little Girl Who Was Too Fond of Matches), Droesem and Naar Medeia; and those of Ravel Ruell: Martino, Platonov and In de eenzaamheid van de katoenvelden (In the Solitude of Cotton Fields). She worked as an assistant to Mieja Holvoet (Laika) on La belle & la bête (Beauty and the Beast), Petrushka and De idioot (The Idiot). She also designed the costumes for the LOD production Muur (Wall) in 2010.
