James Murphy, David Dewaele and Stephen Dewaele

A club night dedicated to the maxim of good times and good music... experience the music how it is intended to be heard - every nuance and detail without compromise.

Three nights of sonic revelations as James Murphy and 2manydjs built the greatest sound system in the world, fired it up and intoxicated the senses with their refreshing blend of music.
Despacio is seven enormous speaker stacks, 576 black and white
floor tiles, one giant glitter ball and 900 happy punters listening
to what we can mathematically prove is the best amplified sound ever heard anywhere.

Despacio found the perfect home in The Co-operative Group’s
New Century Hall, a uniquely preserved 60s ballroom within the heart of the new NOMA district.

Since the project's beginning at MIF13, Despacio has continued to tour, appearing at Glastonbury, Barcelona's Sonar Festival, and more.

Commissioned by Manchester International Festival.

Despacio may head to London
