Described by Clint Boon as perhaps the most important thing to happen on the Manchester music scene since the Sex Pistols hit the Free Trade Hall, Same Teens was founded by a group of Mancunian kids who were fed up with not being allowed into local gigs and so decided to promote their own. In the space of two years, they worked with big names such as Foals and Black Kids, and their fanzine has won rave reviews from the likes of Tim Burgess and Erol Alkan.
