Call for budding Producers…

1 October 2008

Manchester International Festival is today launching an exciting new Trainee Producer scheme designed to help emerging producers develop professional skills and experience, and enhance their employability.

MIF will be recruiting up to 5 local producers with a passion for the arts to join the MIF for 6 months, starting in March 2009. Trainees will be mentored by MIF Producers and will gain first-hand experience of developing high-profile artistic commissions. Trainees will additionally receive a programme of enterprise and business skills development delivered in association with NESTA, the National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts.

We’re looking for talented and dedicated people with a passion for innovation, originality and helping artists to achieve ambitious artistic visions. You will need to demonstrate previous experience of arts production or administration, or the delivery of public events. For further details and to apply, click here.
