These terms and conditions relate to tickets issued for Factory International events and goods sold by Factory International and form part of the contractual agreement between ticket holders/buyers and Factory International. These terms and conditions must be read in accordance with the venue terms, conditions and regulations, copies of which are available on request from the venue. Please read these documents carefully.

Factory International endeavours to treat all ticket holders with respect and care, ensuring their safety and security whilst attending an event. Your compliance with the following will assist us in doing so

  1. Tickets and Distribution

1.1 The ticket remains the property of Factory International and may be withdrawn, with admission to the event refused at any time.

1.2 Limits on the number of tickets available for purchase by 1 individual may be in place. These limits will be stated on the event page at factoryinternational.org. Failure to comply with these limits may result in some or all of the individual’s tickets being cancelled without notice.

1.3 Tickets cannot be returned, nor money refunded, except in the case of cancelled or rescheduled events.

1.4 It is your responsibility to check your tickets carefully when you receive them to ensure the details contained therein are correct. Please contact us immediately if you think there is a mistake at tickets@factoryinternational.org

1.5 Factory International cannot be responsible for lost, destroyed or stolen tickets. In some cases, replacement tickets may be issued but this is at the sole discretion of Factory International and the venue and a reasonable administration charge may be levied. Please contact tickets@factoryinternational.org if your tickets are lost, destroyed or stolen.

1.6 Where applicable, tickets will be delivered to the address supplied at the point of sale, typically 1-2 weeks prior to the event. If you have not received your tickets 48 hours before the event, please contact us at tickets@factoryinternational.org. It is your responsibility to inform Factory International of any change of address.

1.7 Where applicable, e-tickets will be emailed to the email address supplied at the point of sale. An e-ticket can be shown on a mobile device or printed on A4 paper for entry. If you have not received your e-tickets from us 72 hours before the event, please contact us at tickets@factoryinternational.org. It is your responsibility to inform Factory International of any change of email address.

1.8 If Factory International or the venue considers it necessary, tickets may need to be collected from the venue before the start of the event. Unless otherwise advised, this will be from 1 hour prior to the start of the event. We recommend collecting tickets no later than 30 minutes prior to the start of the event.

1.9 Tickets are issued solely for personal use and must not be resold for profit or commercial gain. Failure to comply will make the ticket void and non-refundable.

1.10 Any Factory International Member who attempts to resell tickets for profit or commercial gain may have their membership revoked.

1.11 Where possible, Factory International will facilitate a ticket exchange for an alternative performance of the same event. A £2 per ticket fee will apply.

1.12 We would like to advise customers to only purchase tickets through Factory International and our authorised ticket agencies such as DICE, See Tickets, Gigs and Tours or Ticketmaster, event promoters, artists’ official websites and their authorised agents to be sure that you are purchasing a genuine and valid ticket.

Please note that it is against the Conditions of Sale to resell tickets without express written permission of the promoter and we would strongly discourage customers from purchasing tickets via unauthorised sources or ticket reselling services such as eBay, Facebook, StubHub or Viagogo.

The purchase of tickets from non-approved sources can result in customers being refused entry and being unable to obtain a refund. In the unfortunate event of a postponed or cancelled event Factory International will only be able to contact those customers who booked through an authorised agent and will only be able to refund the original ticket purchaser. Holding a ticket does not entitle the holder to either access to the venue or a refund should there be any alteration to the original event details.

If you are in any doubt as to whether an agent is approved or not, please contact tickets@factoryinternational.org

2. Admission

2.1 Latecomers may have to wait until a suitable break in the performance to enter and late admission cannot be guaranteed.

2.2 Security searches may be in operation. Failure to comply with any reasonable request for a security search will result in refusal of entry.

2.3 Pass-outs or re-admission are provided at the sole discretion of Factory International and/or the venue.

2.4 Age guidelines may be issued which are specific to the event booked. In some cases, an event may not be suitable for children, or children may need to be accompanied by an adult. Age guidelines can be found on the event webpage.

2.5 You must comply with all relevant statutes, safety announcements and venue regulations whilst attending the event.

2.6 Ticket holders consent to filming, sound recording and being photographed as members of the audience. If you would prefer not to be included in any image recording, please speak to a member of Factory International staff or a volunteer. They will be wearing a staff pass at the event and will provide information on how to make sure you are not included. Notices will be posted at the entrance to any venue where photography or video recording is planned, with similar information.

2.7 The venue and/or Factory International reserve the right to refuse or revoke admission, including (but not limited to) for health and safety reasons, where a ticket is void or if the ticket holder’s behaviour is considered unreasonable by either Factory International or the venue, in their sole opinion.

3. Alteration

3.1 Factory International reserves the right to make changes to the event where Factory International believes it is reasonably necessary to do so.

3.2 Changes to the event may include, but are not limited to, altering the billing, start time, venue, seating arrangements and any other changes reasonably necessary which do not affect the nature of the performance. Factory International will use reasonable endeavours to communicate such changes to ticket holders as soon as is reasonably possible.

3.3 Factory International will use reasonable endeavours to inform ticket holders of the cancellation or rescheduling of a performance. However, it remains the responsibility of the ticket holder to monitor whether the performance is cancelled or rescheduled. If an event is rescheduled, it is the ticket holder’s responsibility to ascertain the date and time of the rescheduled event.
