Information Desk

The information desk is located in the Social in the orange box on the ground floor.

Here you will find people from our team who can help you if you need a ticket for an event. They can also answer any other questions you might have about Aviva Studios.

Parking

There is a car park approximately 0.6 miles from the building entrance at Water Street Car Park, New Elm Rd, Manchester, M3 4JH.

There is also a NCP car park (Manchester Spinningfields) approximately 0.5 miles away from the venue at Spinningfields, New Quay Street, Manchester, M3 3BE. It has 35 accessible bays.

There are eight Blue Badge spaces along Water St and Quay St. Otherwise head towards Liverpool Road, Great John St and Lower Byrom St – close to our neighbours, the Science and Industry Museum where there are a small number of additional Blue Badge spaces.

For a list of other parking bays available in the area, visit Manchester City Council website.

Toilets

There are accessible toilets on all public levels of our building.

Accessible toilets are located inside the main toilets space in the brick arches of the Social. The toilets are split into male, female and gender neutral – all of which contain accessible cubicles. The accessible toilets are towards the back of the space and contain left- or right-hand transfer, as well as ambulant accessible cubicles with grab rails and a Changing Places facility.

There are shared handwashing facilities in each arch – they have soap dispensers under the mirrors to your left and dryers to the right. There are separate handwashing facilities inside the accessible cubicles.

There are additional single-room accessible toilets located in both Hall Foyers, at stalls and circle level, and in the Warehouse Foyer.

You do not need a key to use the accessible toilets at Aviva Studios.

Lifts and escalators

There is step-free access to all areas of the venue, with lift access to the Warehouse from the Social, and lift and escalator access to the Hall from the Social. The escalator leading to the Hall foyers usually works in the direction of audience flow, so it will take you up before the performance, and the same escalator will bring you down at the interval or at the end of the show.

For standing gigs and shows in our Warehouse space we have an accessible viewing platform available for wheelchair users and their companion or anyone needing a seat for access reasons. This is available by pre-booking only. The accessible viewing platform is usually located towards the rear of the Warehouse – it is positioned higher than the crowd and accessed via a lift and ramp.

Baby changing and breastfeeding

We have baby changing and toilets on site – including accessible toilets.

You are welcome to breastfeed in the Social – our groundfloor café and bar area.

Buggy parks

We don't have a dedicated buggy or pram park but should you need a space, you can ask a member of our Front of House team for the best place to park up.

Prayer/Multi-Faith Room

We are in the process of creating a dedicated prayer room. In the meantime, a member of our Front of House team can help you find a quiet space for worship if you require one.

There are also single-room accessible toilets in both the Social and Upper Hall Foyer which have a separate, more private sink in them for visitors who need to do ablution before praying. You can visit our Welcoming Muslim Visitors page for more information.

Food and Drink

A range of food and drink options are available throughout the day from Super Serve Manchester in our ground floor foyer and café bar the Social. Super Serve is a new collaboration between Solitaire Restaurants and Square One, who have come together to create a sustainable, locally sourced menu for us.

All of our non-pork meat products are Halal. Last orders are half an hour before closing.

Our two auditorium bars the Hall and Upper Hall are open during events.

You can look at our menus on our Food and Drink page: Food and Drink
